How do I tryout for the Columbus Clippers?

The Columbus Clippers do not hold tryouts. Our players are assigned to us by our Major League Affiliate, the Washington Nationals. You may contact the Major League Scouting Bureau, at 909-980-1881, for information on future Major League tryout camps.

What is the policy on ticket refunds/exchanges?

We do not offer refunds on any tickets purchased in advance. Tickets can be exchanged for similar tickets, if available, for a later date in the same season. This exchange must be made in advance of the date on the ticket.

If a game is postponed or cancelled due to weather, what is the policy?

We do not offer refunds for tickets to games that have been rained out. If the game is postponed or cancelled, you may exchange your tickets for like tickets, pending availability, to any future home game within the same season. If you do not attend a game because of bad weather, but the game is played anyways, exchanges will not be offered. We have covered seating, and umbrellas are allowed in our stadium so please plan to attend unless the game has been officially postponed or cancelled.

Do the Clippers offer fundraising opportunities?

The Columbus Clippers offer a variety of different fundraising options during the season, ranging from selling fundraising tickets to having your group volunteer during a Clippers baseball game in our concessions or kid’s games areas.

Special fundraising tickets are one way for your group to raise money. Tickets are distributed to the group on a consignment basis. There are Adult General Admission tickets valued at $6.00 and Youth General Admission tickets valued at $3.00. These tickets are good for every Clippers home game in April, May and June of 2007. Tickets can be sold for their face value or lower. Groups would redeem back to the Clippers $3.00 for each Adult General Admission Ticket and $1.50 for each Youth General Admission Ticket sold or given away.

Volunteering to work our concessions or kids game areas are other ways for your group to raise money. Dates are available throughout the 2007 season (April – September), and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Please contact our Ticket and Business Office if you are interested in fundraising tickets or volunteering in our kid’s game areas. Please contact our concessionaire, Sodexho, if you are interested in volunteering in our concessions areas.
