LouSeal is the official mascot for the Columbus
Clippers. LouSeal
grew up a huge baseball fan as his parents were originally from the
San Francisco Bay, but grew tired of never
being able to see any games live. So LouSeal left Alaska in search of great
baseball and headed across the United States until he hit the mighty
Scioto River in Downtown Columbus. When he ventured onto the Santa Maria he met Captain Clipper
who had just decided to hang it up. Once
Captain Clipper learned of LouSeal’s love of baseball
he put LouSeal through a tough training program to
prepare him for his rookie season as a mascot.
LouSeal has been the Clippers mascot ever
since that fateful day in the mid 1990’s.
Since taking over for Captain Clipper, LouSeal
has become a favorite of both kids and adults.
LouSeal’s favorite team sport is the national
pastime, baseball, and loves roaming the field at Cooper Stadium, cheering the
Clippers onto victory. When the Clippers
are on the road or away for the winter you can find LouSeal
at your favorite community or charity event.

Bats: Right
Throws: Right
Born: 1/1/04 in the Caribbean
Resides: Cooper Stadium
Statistics:
Krash is the krazy parrot who has taken the position as LouSeal’s First Mate in 2004. Krash was destined
to become a baseball mascot since his birth.
He comes from a long line of birds that have performed for baseball
teams. As Krash
began his mascot training he saw tape of LouSeal
dancing on the dugout after the 7th inning stretch. He immediately became a fan of LouSeal and the Clippers.
Krash contacted LouSeal
and began taking pointers from the veteran mascot. Krash then moved to
Columbus in April to be able to watch LouSeal in person during the ‘04 season. On Opening Night, April 8, Krash received the letter he had been waiting for. It was finally his time to join the
show. LouSeal
had written Krash, requesting help getting Clippers
fans excited because he knew that 2004 was going to be a special year. Krash made a mad
dash to the Coop and arrived just in time to make his grand début at the end of
the 1st inning where LouSeal gave him his very own
Clippers jersey to wear proudly during the season. Krash is now
excited about learning all there is to know about being a Triple-A mascot and
loves going on appearances when the team isn’t playing at Cooper Stadium. To book Krash for
your community event or charity please call (614) 462-5250 or write to
